Williamston Police Officers investigated the following incidents last week:

Nov. 17 – Larry Lee Edmonds, 50, 12 1st St. Williamston was arrested for assault and battery 3rd after an incident in which he was arguing with a neighbor and according to reports, threw a piece of a log at the victim, Linda Daniels, 65, of Okeechobie Fl. The incident happended at 8 E 1st St., Williamston, striking her in the side. G. Cremer, R. Drennon investigated.

Nov. 17 – Doreen Elizabeth Keleto, 53, 49 Dove St., Williamston reported receiving harassing text messages. Captain K. Marsee investigated.

Nov. 15 – Mack Fowler, 47, 147 Middleton, Williamston reported items valued at $310 taken from a 1994 Ford Taurus. Missing items inluded a Nuvi GPS $200, SIRIUS satellite radio transmitter $100, hard shell case for the GPS $10. C. Samuel investigated.

Nov. 12 – Michelle K. Moore, 48, 114 Blackgum Rd., Pelzer reported a tire slashed on her vehicle while substitute teaching at Palmetto High School, 804 N. Hamilton St,. Williamston. The tire was valued at $150. J. Sargent investigated.

Nov. 11 – Ronnie L. Stephens, 44, 203 Tripp St. Williamston reported someone pointed automatic handgun at him in the area of Brown St. The incident remains under investigation. C. Samuel investigated.

Nov. 11 – Tina Melinda Propes, 46, 4 Durham St., Williamston reported the theft of a green 2000 Saturn LS2 from 305 W. Main St. The vehicle was valued at $1000. C. Samuel investigated.
