Anderson County Sheriff’s Deputies investigated the following:

EASLEY

Dec. 12 – M.D. Creamer responded to a hotel located at 3104 Highway 153 where Lori Baker reported that someone had cut the lock from their U-Haul trailer and stolen some items from inside.

Dec. 12 – P.C. Henry received a telephone complaint from Peggy Mabry, an employee of Amerigas Propane. She said that a license tag, SC311 3FF had been stolen from a company truck. The loss was $25.

Dec. 14 – S. L. Steward was dispatched to 125 Hickory Run Dr. where Shirley Tallyen reported that someone had vandalized her Christmas decoration in the front yard. The damage was estimated at $100, and she asked that her neighborhood be placed on the keep check list.

PELZER

Dec. 13 – P.D. Marter responded to 301 Easley Highway where Brandon Norwood reported the theft of his car transport trailer. The trailer, valued at $2500, is 17 feet long, black, dual axle with diamond plate steel deck.

PIEDMONT

Dec. 12 – P.D. Marter and D. McQueen responded to 1100 Hwy. 86 where they placed Roger Caldwell, WM, 48, 5’9″, 200 pounds under arrest for public disorderly conduct. He was transported to ACDC.

Dec. 13 – C.P. Huff was dispatched to 142 Kinsland Way where Stephen Forrester reported that someone entered his vehicle and stole a handgun valued at $600.

WILLIAMSTON

Dec. 12 – P.D. Marter received a report from Melissa Kay, of 102 Oak Court, who stated that someone had stolen two flip phones and a check book from her trailer. The loss was estimated at $50.

Dec. 12 – P.C. Henry received a telephone report from Alleta Smith, of 342 Wesley Ellison Rd., who stated that her husband, Athan, has been receiving harassing phone calls and text messages from a family member (no name or description provided).

Dec. 14 – K.D. Lollis received a telephone complaint from William Walters, of 405 Elaine Way, who stated that someone had torn his mailbox from the post and thrown it in the ditch. Damage was estimated at $50.
