Firefighters from Piercetown, Whitefield, Hopewell, and West Pelzer battle a fire on Highway 81 on Wednesday (Dec. 31) morning. The two story brick home located just north of I-85 was heavily damaged by the fire. At least one vehicle was also destroyed.
