Robbery, murder suspect apprehended in Arizona

The Ohio man wanted in connection with killing an elderly Ohio couple and committing armed robberies in three states, including Upstate SC, was arrested in Arizona Thursday morning. Robert Clark, 29 is accused of killing Doyle Chumney, 88, and his wife, Lillian, 79, in Strasburg, Ohio in January and then being involved in robberies in West Virginia, Anderson South Carolina and Georgia last week. According to reports, Clark was arrested after his van was spotted by deputies in Mohave County. The van was pursued for about 30 minutes until it pulled onto a dirt road and got stuck in sand. Tabatha Hazel, 26 and Jeffrey Caley, Jr. 28 were also arrested. According to reports, Caley put a gun to his head and threatened to shot himself before finally surrendering. Hazel and Caley are suspects in the armed robberies but not the killings, officials said.
