West Pelzer Police Report


West Pelzer Police Department investigated the following incidents recently:

Feb. 4 – Jonathan Thomas Evans, 32, 301 Boiter Rd., Williamston was arrested and issued a citation for loitering for drug related purpose and drug paraphernalia after a vehicle was observed going through two closed business parking lots. A passenger in the vehicle, Amanda Hope Patterson, 38, 7 Goodrich St., Pelzer, was also issued a citation. According to reports, two syringes and a spoon with residue on it were found in a backpack in the vehicle. Also three syringes were found in a purse in the back seat. B. Maxwell investigated.

Feb. 6 – Randall Dean Bruce, 44, 2B River St., Pelzer was arrested for failure to accompany officers and public disorderly conduct after an incident at 1 Main St., in West Pelzer in which he walked away from officers and threatened to hurt himself and officers. According to reports, just prior he was screaming and striking himself in the face and head while in the nearby Hickory Point. B. Maxwell investigated.

Feb. 7 – Danaro Jaquan Chapman, 20, 303 Leon Drive Anderson was arrested for simple possession of marijuana after a black Honda Accord was observed on Main St,. with the front seat passenger not having his seat belt on. A marijuana bud was found in the center console. A passenger in the vehicle identified as McGee was arrested for outstanding warrant with Anderson County. B. Maxwell investigated.

Feb. 14 – Kimberly J. Beatriz, 18, 306 Gerber St., Wahalla was arrested for no driver’s license after a red Chevy truck was observed traveling 49 mph in a 35 mph zone on Main St. Beatriz was issued a summons and released to a licensed driver. The vehicle was towed. C. Brewer investigated.
