Williamston Police Officers investigated the following incidents over the previous two week period:

Feb. 23 – Johnny Ray Patterson, Jr., 30, 300 HI Taylor Rd., Williamston was arrested for open container and public disorderly conduct after officers were dispatched to Anderson Drive in reference to a vehicle stuck in a ditch. According to reports, the driver of the vehicle (owned by Patterson) stated a deer had run in front of her and she left the roadway to miss it. While gathering information, officers found an open container near the vehicle. A matching unopened can of 24 oz. Bud Light was found in the truck. When questioned about the open container, Patterson became loud and boisterous and was arrested. J. Taylor investigated.

Feb. 19 – Sara Jennifer Neely, 32, of Greer reported alleged fraud on a debit card belonging to Gleda Jonce medford of Greer. The card was used for a $16 purchase at the Dollar General in Williamston. The case is pending. J. Taylor investigated.

Feb. 20 – Joshua Lee Antone, 38, 565 Joe Black Road, Pelzer was arrested for outstanding warrant with Greenville County after officers were dispatched to 34 Spring Street in reference to a suspicious person on the front porch who would not leave. The subject was located nearby on Mahaffey Street, arrested for outstanding warrant and transported for pickup by Greenville County. M. E. Simmons, T. L. Eichelberger investigated.

Feb. 20 – Thomas Eugene Hastings, 47, 110A Willingham Rd., Belton was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and open container in a vehicle after a black Dodge Ram failed to signal while making a right turn onto Hwy. 20 from N. Hamilton St. and only one brake light was illuminating. Hastings was a passenger in the vehicle. S. N. Robison investigated.

Feb. 21 – Candice Hope McConnell, 35, 222 Gilmer Rd,. Anderson was arrested for shoplifting items valued at $51 after officers were called to Dollar General, 526 West Main Street in Williamston. Cpl. L. E. Mulz, K. S. Looney investigated.

Feb. 22 – Jason Russell Reeves, 40, 138 New Cut Rd., Piedmont was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia after a 2008 Dodge was observed failing to signal while making a left turn from N. Hamilton onto Roberts Blvd. due to the nervous behavior, the Anderson County K9 unit was dispatched and alerted on the vehicle. A bowl was found in the vehicle. S. N. Robison investigated.

Feb. 22 – Dollar General, 526 West Main St., Williamston reported a white male wearing a beige hat, gray sweatpants and black jacket left the store with a mens dark color jacket valued at $20. J. T. Hunt investigated.

Feb. 23 – Tyler James Stone, 30, 120 Epps Rd., Belton was arrested for shoplifting a can of spray foam valued at $4. R. Drennon investigated.

Feb. 23 – Rodney Louis Fernandez, 42, 152 Rock Moss Dr., Williamston was arrested for driving under suspension, expired vehicle license and operating uninsured vehicle after officers observed a white Ford F-150 traveling slow on Anderson Drive. J. Taylor investigated.

Feb. 24 – Donnie Trevor Allison, 30, 121 Middleton Blvd., Williamston was issued a trespass notice after officers responded to 103 Middleton Blvd. in reference to knocking on the door. The incident involved an on going feud between two parties. Sgt. K. J. Winn investigated.

Feb. 9 – Shianne Louise Jones, 17, 106 River Drive, Williamston was issued a citation for drug paraphernalia after the RAID K9 alerted on her 1998 Honda Civic at Palmetto High School, 804 N. Hamilton St., Williamston. A green glass bong and tubing were found in the trunk. J. Sargent investigated.

Feb. 9 – Ruth Elizabeth Guthrie, 70, 611 S. Hamilton St., reported forced entry into her residence and several firearms valued at $1350 taken. Sgt. K. J. Winn investigated.

Feb. 10 – James Michael Simpson, 105 Simpson St., Williamston reported a dark colored Jeep wrangler caused $500 in damage to a grassy area at Heritage Circle and North Hamilton St. Chief T. Taylor investigated.

Feb. 11 – Brandon O Hilliard, 32, 111 Templewood Ct., Williamston was arrested for driving under suspension after a silver Dodge Neon was observed with a tag frame concealing the month and year decal. S. N. Robison investigated.

Feb. 12 – Sally Christina Rhodes, 37, 209 Pamela Dr., Williamston was arrested for drug paraphernalia and defective tag light after a black Ford Mustang was observed on Middleton Blvd. with a brake light/tail light not illuminating. A passenger in the vehcile, Tina Melinda Propes, 47, 4 Durham Dr., Williamston, was also arrested for drug paraphernalia. Two bowls were found in the vehicle. S. N. Bobison, J. T. Hunt investigated.

Feb. 14 – Pete Harrison Carter, 20, 133 Oak Ln., Greenville was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after officers were dispatched to 702 Belton Hwy. (Career Center) in reference to a naked adult male running around in the area. After approaching officers in an agressive manner he was tazed and fell to the ground, but was able to get back up and was tazed again. After that officers were able to get Carter inside the patrol vehicle without further incident. According to reports, another man with Carter stated he may have been on acid. R. Feb. 15 – Archibald Ricardo Cameron, 42, 220 Mauldin St., Williamston was issued a citation for ill treatment of animal after officers were dispatched to Williamston Ct. in reference to a dog that had been inside a red Ford hatchback for an extended amount of time. J. Taylor investigated.
