EASLEY

April 24 – A.C. Guthrie responded to the parking lot of the WalMart at 11410 Anderson Rd., where Kady Price reported that someone stole her carpet cleaner from her truck while she was inside buying groceries. The loss was estimated at $250.

April 24 – J.R. Richey responded to a report of a reckless driver in the area of Hwy. 153 where he began canvassing business locations in the area. While on scene he received information from the Greer police department that they were in contact with the mother of the subject, Joshua Kuntz, WM, 28,5’8″, 175 pounds who had called her and told her he was running Hwy. 153.

A description of the green VW Passat was provided and he was subsequently located and apprehended at the Spinx convenience store, cutting donuts at a high speed in the parking lot. He was arrested for reckless driving. He was examined by EMS personnel and was transported to ACDC.

April 25 – J.E. Scott was dispatched to 106 Ragsdale Rd. where Martha Porter stated that someone had entered one of the buildings on her property and stolen a variety of hand and power tools, valued at $760. She said she looked out the window and saw two subjects leaving the building. Her husband fired a shot in the air and the subjects fled. The items were subsequently found in the tree line and recovered.

April 25 – J.E. Scott responded to the 7-11 convenience store at 3600 Hwy. 153, where Timothy Holt, an employee, reported that two subjects stole merchandise from the store and pointed a gun at him when he followed them from the store. The two were described as a black male, 6′, 150 pounds, gray hoodie and jeans; and a black male 6′, 180 pounds, shaved head and goatee, blue shirt, gray sweat pants. They stole some beer and chips valued at $13.

April 25 – D. Stipe was dispatched to 106 Highbourne Court where Michelle Little reported the theft of a Razor kids cart, valued at $350.

April 26 – T.V. Hendrix responded to 101 Willow Point way where Carol Burger reported the theft of a Scott Spark mountain bike valued at $3500.

PELZER

April 26 – J.M. Culberston responded to 508 Woodcock Rd. where Ronald Holbrooks reported the theft of his black 2006 KIA Sorento, valued at $6500.

PIEDMONT

April 2 – T.K. Cook responded to 17 N. Circle Dr. where James Hooper reported that someone had broken the window of his truck, causing $200 in damage.

April 25 – A.C. Guthrie was dispatched to 110 Ross St. Carl Chambers reported that someone had stolen a red Craftsman lawn mower from his father’s shed. The loss was estimated at $200.

April 25 – J.E. Scott was patrolling near Langston Rd. and White Rd. when he observed a vehicle make a left hand turn with no signal. He initiated a traffic stop, and saw a passenger jump out of the truck before it actually stopped. He apprehended the passenger, Jesse Riffle, WM, 26, 5’8″, 150 pounds, brn/blue. Central dispatch confirmed that he was wanted on an active warrant.

April 26 – T.K. Cook received a telephone report from Purvin Pujara, owner of the residence at 113 B Goldfinch Court that a refrigerator valued at $900 had been stolen from the rental property.
