The Pig in the Park BBQ Festival and Cook-Off will be held in Williamston’s Mineral Spring Park on Friday and Saturday, May 15 -16.
Organizers are now accepting applications for business and craft vendors interested in participating in the event on Saturday, May 16. Applications are due by Apr. 30. Space fee for 12×10 space is $75. $25 for each additional five feet. No tables or chairs are provided. Canopies are welcomed and encouraged but must not exceed booth space. Any area business or craft vendor interested in having a display booth at the festival is asked to contact Heather Holcombe at 947-6231.
There will be barbecue available to the public, entertainment and vendors at the event.
Cash prizes will be awarded to the winning barbecue cooking teams. Experienced, trained, and Certified SCBA Judges will handle the judging of the Boston Butt pork cooked during the contest.
