Pelzer EMS paramedics work at the scene of a two vehicle accident on Highway 20 near Highway 8 Thursday afternoon. A VW was traveling south when it apparently crossed the center line and struck the cab of an eighteen wheeler in the side. West Pelzer firefighters assisted with traffic control and made sure there were no hazards. Highway 20 was down to one lane until the wreckage was cleared about an hours after the accident.
