No charges will be filed in a recent Piedmont shooting. According to Anderson County Sheriff’s Office, as a result of the investigation into the Crawford Street shooting, the case has been ruled as self-defense. About 2 p.m. last Monday, Charles Edward Teal called Anderson County’s Central Dispatch (911) and stated that he had just shot his nephew, 40 year old Timothy Lee Owens. Owens, unfortunately, died at the scene.
