Williamston EMS personnel along with Whitefield firefighters work at the scene of a multi vehicle chain reaction accident on Monday afternoon on Highway 29 near Cheddar Road. A Honda struck a cargo trailer in the rear, pushing it onto the rear of the pickup truck that was towing it. The truck was then knocked into an SUV. No one was injured but two of the three vehicles were heavily damaged and traffic was slow until the wreckage was cleared. (Photo by David Rogers)
