Week of May 27-June 2

Williamston Police Officers investigated the following incidents recently:

May 27 – Officers were dispatched to Parker Street in reference to possible narcotic activity in which a strong odor of marijuana was coming from a vehicle with four occupants. Upon a search of the vehicle, a small baggie containing .2 grams of marijuana and an already smoked marijuana blunt were found in the vehicle. The items were seized and placed into evidence. No arrests were made. Cpl. L. E. Mulz, K. S. Looney investigated.

May 27 – Pamela Phillips Childress, 57, 207 McDonald Ave., Williamston was arrested for driving under the influence after a vehicle wrecked at Minor St. and Palmetto Road. R. Drennon investigated.

May 28 – Lori Jean Beall, 57, 115 Middleton Blvd. #115, Williamston was detained for an outstanding warrant with Greenville County after officers were dispatched to the address. She was transported to Hwy. 153 where GCSO took custody. Sgt. K. J. Winn investigated.

May 29 – Officers recovered a stolen white and silver Ford F150 Lariat 4×4 after the vehicle was observed on the side of the road at 8 Lee Street. A missing trailer that was reported stolen with the vehicle was found by Anderson County Sheriff’s Office just outside Williamston in the woods of Forrest Hills subdivision. The vehicle, stolen out of Pickens County, was valued at $3,000. J. T. Hunt, S. N. Robison investigated.

May 31 – Williamston officers assisted in a vehicle pursuit by West Pelzer PD on Hardwood Rd. Williamston officers traveled down Ida Tucker to Cherokee toward Hardwood Road. The chase ended on a dirt road off Cherokee. A white female was in the passenger seat but the driver fled on foot, resulting in a manhunt involving Anderson County Sheriff’s Deputies, search dogs and a helicopter were brought in for the search.K. May 31 – Austin Lenee Mosley,

310 E. Carolina St,. Williamston was arrested for possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, felon in possession of a firearm, possession with intent to distribute marijuana.after officers observed a blue BMW on E Carolina St. with Mosley driving.. Reports state officers were aware Mosley was currently under suspension. The vehicle stopped at 19 Jehue St. and Mosley was observed leaving the vehicle towards the back of the residence. A Taurus .38SPL 5 shot revolver was found in the dash console. A plastic baggy with 5 grams of a rock like substance believed to be crack cocaine was found in the CD player console. A white bag with 102 grams of maijuana was also found in the vehicle. S. N. Robison investigated.

June 1 – Ace Hardware reported a white male left the store without paying for a “shark bite” metal piece designed to fit two hoses together. The item was valued at $12. The suspect and another unknown white male left in a red Pontiac Grand Prix with what appeared to be a television in the trunk with the trunk lid partially closed. M. W. Simmons investigated.

June 2 – Brandon Stuart Lindley, 26, 334 Washington Church Rd., Pelzer was arrested for driving under suspension after the driver of a red Mazda was observed on Greenville Drive and Tripp Street without a seatbelt on. K. S. Looney investigated.
