Republican Presidential hopeful
Dr. Ben Carson will be visiting Anderson on Wed., July 1 at the invitation of the Anderson County Republican Party. Dr. Carson will be the Speaker at a Bar-B-Que at Creekside Bar-B-Que that evening at 1115 Salem Church Road, Anderson SC 29621 located off Clemson Boulevard.
Dr. Ben Carson believes that the private sector should provide many services that government provides today and believes in lower taxes. Dr. Carson supports citizens contributing school supplies for students. Please consider bringing any school supplies such as pencils, notebook paper, rulers, etc.
The public is invited. Dress is casual. Musical entertainment will be provided by Jenkins Holler Blue Grass Band.
The doors open at 6 pm with the food served at 6:30 pm. Tickets are $15.00 per person and $25.00 per couple. Whole table purchases are available. Please e-mail or call in your reservations so that there will be plenty of food for all, a spokersperson said.
