If you’ve heard of Austin Webb, you probably know he has been in Nashville for the past couple of years, paying his dues and working on making it in the music business. If you’ve kept up with him, you know he is well on his way. If you haven’t heard of Austin Webb, you will.

The hometown “country music star” is currently performing at some of this year’s biggest country music festivals and fairs with some of country music’s biggest names including Florida Georgia Line, Joe Nichols, Jake Owen, The Band Perry, Parmalee, Eric Paslay, Frankie Ballard and more. He just opened a show for Charlie Daniels.

In May, his latest single release, “All Country On You,” broke the Top 40 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart and is getting airplay across the country and locally. With the success of that release and building on previous singles, a busy touring schedule is taking him across the country.

In August he will be back in South Carolina, performing a special “homecoming show” in his hometown of Williamston. Webb will headline the 2015 Spring Water Festival on Saturday, Aug. 22.

Festival Chairman and Entertainment Coordinator David Meade said, “We are very excited to have Austin Webb headline the 2015 Spring Water Festival. Austin is enjoying great success and we are fortunate to have him as our featured performer this year.”

Since winning a song writing contest in Greenville and moving to Nashville in 2011, Webb signed a publishing deal with Red Vinyl Music and a recording deal with Streamsound Records, co-owned by Grammy-winner and famed music producer Byron Gallimore.

Gallimore produces Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Sugarland and others.

Webb has had four singles released which have received national attention on country music radio and videos being played on Great American Country TV.

With Streamsound, Webb released his debut single, “It’s All Good”, in December 2012. The song debuted at number 53 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart in February 2013.

His second single, “Slip On By”, was released in July 2013 and peaked on the Billboard Country Airplay chart at number 40 in early 2014.

In December 2013, Webb made his debut National Anthem performance at the Green Bay Packers Lambeau Field.

In March 2014, Webb’s third single “Raise ‘Em Up” was released and debuted at number 58 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart.

His latest single, “All Country on You” recently reached Top 40 status.

The song was written by Mark Irwin, Josh Kear and Chris Tompkins, who also collaborated on hits including Carrie Underwood’s “Before He Cheats” and Tyler Farr’s “Redneck Crazy.”

The song takes a different approach to the topic of women-done-wrong, taking the perspective of a man who’s learned the hard way not to cross a country girl.

Webb has performed four times on the Grand Ole Opry stage.

Austin Webb will headline entertainment Saturday on the Amphitheater Stage. Saturday’s entertainment will also feature Royal Scotsmen Band, Blue Sky Band, Jake Bartley Band and others to be announced soon.

There will also be all day Gospel Stage featuring Eternal Vision and a host of others.

The Carolina Coast Band will be featured on the Amphithearter Stage on Friday night.

The two day event, August 21&22, will feature more than 100 craft vendors and business vendors, one of the upstate’s largest antique and classic auto shows and other special activities and attractions.

This will be the 34th year of the annual event which draws thousands of people to Mineral Spring Park.
