Williamston Police Officers investigated the following incidents:

June 17 – A customer at Hardee’s, 1520 Anderson Drive reported a customer attempted to buy food with a counterfeit $20 bill which the customer said was given to her at another local business. The fake bill was placed into evidence by officers. Z. T. Parks investigated.

June 17 – Milissa Ann Evatt, 42, 2 Rockwood Dr., Williamston reported her mailbox was leaning toward the ground. Damage was estimated at $100. Z. T. Parks investigated.

June 19 – Phillip M Hughey, 27, 2 W 4th St., Williamston was arrested for CDV-third after officers were dispatched to the location in reference to an assault. According to reports, Hughey grabbed Ashley Worrel and headbutted her. Hughey left the scene but was located during a traffic stop later. The female victim was also arrested and charged with CDV due to a mutual restraining order each had. J. T. Hunt, S. N. Robison investigated.

June 19 – Jeffrey Dan Ellison, 50, 5675 W. Washington St., Greenville was arrested for trespass after officers were dispatched to 9 Pinecrest Drive in reference to a trespasser. T. L. Eichelberger investigated.

June 19 – Palmer Leo Conwell, 75, 616 N. Hamilton St. #1×1 was issued a summons for disorderly conduct after officers were dispatched to the location. According to reports EMS was dispatched because he said he felt like he was having a heart attack and then refused EMS help. J. Sargent investigated.

June 20 – Zachary Dwayne Kay, 24, 15 Traxler Ave., Williamston was arrested for CDV after officers responded to the location in reference to an assault. T. L. Eichelberger investigated.

June 21 – Edwin Anthony Ellison, 54, 305 W. Main St., Williamston was arrested for providing false infromation to police after a 911 call in which officers were dispatched to the location in reference to a possible trespasser. According to reports, Ellison provided conflicting information to officers about who damaged his tomato plants. T. L. Eichelberger investigated.

June 21 – Mario Arcides, Rodriguez, 61, 462 Guyton Rd., Williamston was arrested for driving under suspension 3rd after officers were dispatched to McDonalds in referend to unattended children. According to reports, the grandfather, Rodriguez left the children for about 20 minutes. Due to the fact that his driver’s license was suspended he was arrested.. The children were turned over to their parents. R. Caldwell, T. l. Eichelberger investigated.

June 22 – Barrie Williams Clark, 37, 308 Anita Ct., Williamston was arrested for open container in vehicle after a red Ford was observed on Main Street following another vehicle at an unsafe distance. He was also charged with manner of driving. for following too closely. M. E. Simmons investigated.
