At Civic Center of Anderson
Due to overwhelming response to the Dr. Ben Carson visit to Anderson on Wed., July 1, the event is being relocated to the Civic Center of Anderson at 3027 MLK Jr. Blvd in Anderson. Dr. Carson is speaking at the request of the Anderson County Republican Party. The public is invited. Dress is casual. Musical entertainment will be provided by Jenkins Holler Blue Grass Band.
The doors open at 6 pm with the food served at 6:30 pm. Tickets are $15.00 per person and $25.00 per couple. Whole table purchases are available. Please e-mail or call in your reservations so that there will be plenty of food for all, a spokersperson said.
Dr. Carson believes that the private sector should provide many services that government provides today and believes in lower taxes. He supports citizens contributing school supplies for students. Please consider bringing any school supplies such as pencils, notebook paper, rulers, etc.
