Auditions for the next Mill Town Players production, RING OF FIRE, The Music of Johnny Cash will be held Sunday, July 5 at 6 p.m. at the Pelzer Auditorium. Ring of Fire will run weekends Sept 4 – 20, 2015 at the Pelzer Auditorium. Director is Mary Nickles For this production the theatre group will need adults with strong vocal, instrumental, and acting skills.
ROLES include:
Trenna Female vocalist, doubling on acoustic guitar if possible
Jason Male vocalist playing acoustic guitar
Dave Male vocalist playing electric guitar, banjo, and fiddle
Eddie Male vocalist playing acoustic and electric guitar
Mark Male vocalist playing bass (preferably double bass but electric bass can be used) and
various percussion
*Additional musicians may be added.
Those auditioning should be prepared to perform your favorite Johnny Cash song on the instrument of your choice.
Bring your schedule to fill in all of your potential rehearsal conflicts on the back of the audition form – conflicts may not be added after casting. Please also bring a non-returnable photo and resume or list of experience.
