For November election
The Town of Pelzer will hold a general election for the offices of mayor and four council seats on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 Citizens desiring to be candidates may file at the Pelzer Town Hall, 103 Courtney Street in Pelzer.
Books will be open for filing at noon, August 6, and remain open during regular business hours until noon, August 20. There is no filing free for the offices. The election is a non-partisan, and no party affiliation shall be placed on the ballot.
The polling place is the Pelzer Community Building in Pelzer Park located at 25 Pelzer Park Street.
Anyone desiring to vote in the upcoming election must be registered by October 3, 2015. To register, contact the Anderson County Board of Voter Registration. The polls shall open at 7:00 a.m. and close at 7:00 p.m. on Election Day.
Voters will be asked to show one of the following Photo IDs at their polling place:
S.C. Driver’s License
ID Card issued by S.C. Department of Motor Vehicles
S.C. Voter Registration Card with Photo
Federal Military ID
