Correction – An incident in last week’s Williamston Police Report incorrectly stated the age of a person arrested for an outstanding warrant with Anderson County Sheriff’s Office. Kelly Andrew Viers, age 35, of Pelzer was arrested in the incident.

Williamston police Officers investigated the following incidents recently:

Aug. 11 – Aaron Reese Spear, 20, 103 Lockaby Rd., Pelzer was arrested for simple possession of marijuana and speeding (44/35)after a vehicle was observed on Belton Drive traveling at a high rate of speed. According to reports a baggie containing 3.6 grams of a green leafy substance was found under the driver’s seat. He was issued a UTT for both offenses and notified of a court date. Cpl. L. E. Mulz investigated.

Aug. 11 – Charles McCutheon, 72, 110 Gossett Dr. #E-6 reported prescription medicine taken from the apartment. J. Sargent investigated.

Aug. 12 – Kevin Eugene Hollingsworth, 25, 100 Allison Ct., Easley was arrested for discharging a firearm within the city limits and outstanding warrants with Anderson County after officers were dispatched to 19 Parker St., in reference to shots fired in the area. According to reports, upon investigation two males sitting on the front porch at 19 Parker Street were asked if anyone had been firing a gun, both said no. It was later determined a shotgun that was fired by Hollingsworth was placed in a nearby vehicle, along with a cam bookbag containing 42, 12 gauge shotgun shells. Hollingsworth was arrested on two outstanding warrants. It was also found that Hollingsworth is also a convicted felon who is not allowed to possess a firearm. He was transported to ACDC. Cpl. L. E. Aug. 13 – Anita Marie Bricker, 40, 44 McAlister St., Williamston was arrested for pointing and presenting a firearm, possession of methamphetamine, simple possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after officers were dispacted to the address. According to reports a lighter in the shape of a handgun and an air soft gun was found in a vehicle. A green pencil case in the passenger seat contained a smalll baggie of a green leafy substance field tested positive as marijuanan and a wiz khalifa loud pack of rolling papers. A small change purse was also found containing four pills identified as clonazapam 1mg. A black pouch was found containing a methamphetamine pipe, three hypodermic needles, two baggies containing a crystalline substance field tested positive for methamphetamine. In the vehicle officers also found a shot glass containing methamphetamine residue and a cotton ball and a set of digital scales in a plastic baggie conatining methaphetamine residue. According to reports, Bicker had pointed a handgun at a person approximately 50 yards away. Bicker was arrested and transported to ACDC. Cpl. L. E. Mulz, Z. T. Parks investigated.

Aug. 13 – Sav-Way, 309 E. Main St., Williamston reported a gas drive off in which a red Dodge Ram truck pulling a trailer pumped 4.92 gallons of gas valued at $9.99 and left without paying. S. N. Robison investigated.

Aug. 14 – James Adam Pearson, 25, reported items thrown through three windows of The Vape Shak at 707 Anderson Drive, causing $2000 in damage. J.T. hunt investigated.
