Williamston Police Officers investigated the following:

Sept. 1 – Crystal Marie Kuykendall, 37, 1951 Reedy Fork Rd., Pelzer was arrested for unlawful transport of liquor and driving under suspension after a white 1997 Ford Mustang was observed on Belton Drive with officer’s knowledge that the driver’s license was suspended. A 750 ml of Jim Beam with a broken seal was found in the front seat. Kuykendall was transported to Williamston Police Department where she was issued a UTT for driving under suspension. She also had an outstanding warrrant with Laurens County and was turned over to the Laurens County Sheriff’s Offfice. S. N. Robison investigated.

Sept. 1 – Nathan McDawin Greer, 52, 136 Blount Rd., Belton was issued a UTT for driving under suspension after a black 1992 Toyota pickup was observed failing to use a turn signal to change lanes on Greenville Drive. S. N. Robison investigated.

Sept. 1 – Debra Delores Rouse, 52, 220 Longshore Dr., #142 Belton reported an IPhone 6 valued at $700 stolen from her vehicle while at a business on West Main St., in Williamston. J. T. Hunt investigated.

Sept. 3 – Ashley Ann Worrel, 31, 2 West 4th St., Williamston reported items valued at $1090 missing after she left belongings at 7 Ridley St., in Williamston. According to reports Worrel stayed at the 7 Ridley St. address for a couple of days after having an altercation with her boyfriend. Reports state on Sept. 2, someone dropped off a couple of bags, with only a quarter of the items, at 2 West Fourth Street where the victim previously resided. The incident was to be presented to a judge to decide if there is enough evidence to press charges. J. T Hunt investigated.

Clifford Lee Dove, 26, 412 LaFrance Rd., Anderson was arrested for public disorderly conduct after officers responded to 4 W. Main St., in reference to a civil dispute. He also had an outstanding warrant with another location. He was transported to ACDC. M. E. Simmons investigated.

Sept. 4 – William Christopher Guthrie, 26, 611 S. Hamilton St., Williamston reported vandalism at his residence in which the front windshield of a white truck was shattered. Damage was estimated at $300. Also a bag of tools valued at $100 was taken from a building at the back of the residence. M. E. Simmons investigated.

Sept. 5 – Officers investigated a possible case of animal neglect in which two dogs were found in poor condition at 116 C. Street. According to reports one dog had a tether wrapped around his back leg two times and his other legs basically in a hog tied position. Another dog was running at large. The two dogs were without food and water and had fleas crawling all over them. Cpl. L. E. Mulz investigated.

Sept. 6 – Loraine Aubin Tanisha Rodriguez, 22, 312 Belton Dr., Williamston reported a phone valued at $150 taken from a TV stand. K. S. Looney investigated.
