Williamston Police Captain Kevin Marsee reported the following statistics for the Williamston Police Department for the month of August:
Williamston Police Officers wrote 33 tickets, 77 warnings, made 19 arrests, served three warrants, had 54 incident reports written and 1824 calls for service.
Also 576 Williamston police officers made 576 premise checks, 339 business checks, made 101 traffic stops and assisted other agencies 94 times.
Captain Marsee also reported that the WPD had made several drug related arrests including Austin Lenee Mosley who had a controlled substance known as MDMA or Molly” and William Thomas Biscotto, who had methamphetamine and was a felon in possession of a gun. Also another incident involved outstanding warrants with drug related arrests and recovery of a stolen vehicle.
