Williamston Police Officers investigated the following:

Oct., 26 – Shirley Ann Quinton, 72, 15 Church St. reported prescription pills valued at $120 taken. The incident remains under investigation. G. Cremer investigated.

Oct. 27 – Haley Brett Potter, 21, 7 Ridley St., Williamston reported a break-in in which a 32 inch RCA TV, a 55 inch RCA TV, a Sony DVD surround sound with four speakers missing. The items were valued at $500. R. Drennon investigated.

Oct. 18 – Michael D. Giles, 64, 715 Rigsbee Rd., Westminster reported items valued at $1935 taken from 207 Academy St. The incident remains under investigation. Missing items included 20 sheets of plywood, 25 2x4s, Snapper tiller, self propelled lawn mower, Briggs and Stratton engine, Sit on Mechanics Cart, Antique Hall Tree, Toro Weed Eater. G. Cremer investigated.

Oct. 28 – While on patrol, officer M. Crowe observed broken windows at the old water treatment plant. Lights were also on. Damage was estimated at $1000.

Oct. 28 – Karen Glenda Bayne, 55, 6 Springdale Dr., Williamston reported somone broke into her vehicle and stole a comfoter valued at $28. T. L. Eichelberger investigated.

Oct. 28 – Duncan Dehane Benson, Jr., 22, 404 Smythe St., Greenville was arrested for outstanding bench warrant after officers were dispached to meet Greenville County Deputies who had him at the Stop-A-Minute n Hwy. 86 and Hwy. 20. He was arrested and transported to be arraigned by Judge Lollis, where he paid his fine and was released. M. Crowe, T. L. Eichelberger investigated.

Oct. 28 – Sonja Katherine Reed, 59, 255 Tripp St., Williamston reported damage estimated at $100 done to a mail box. The mail box had been spray painted. A house on Tripp St. had also been spray painted. M. Crowe investigated.

Oct. 29 – Thomas Albert Belk, 58, 11 Bruce St., Williamston reported he loaned a pickup truck to an individual named Daniel. Daniel stated he gave an unknown female a ride to the Walmart on Hwy. 153. The female left with the truck while he was in Walmart. The truck is a red 1993 Chevrolet S 10 and has one fender painted white and is valued at $1000. The truck may be in the Cheddar area. K. Marsee investigated.

Oct. 30 – Carmela Edmonds, 49, 12 E. First St., Williamston was placed on trespass notice for 309 E. Main St., after following a customer into the store and shouting at her. S. N. Robison investigated.

Oct. 30 – Jacob Ryan Fabre, 22, 149 Middleton Blvd., Williamston reported a burglary in which approximately 50 CDs and some silver jewelry were stolen. The items were valued at $600. S. N. Robison investigated.

Oct. 31 – Nicholas Blake Cason, 27, 1517 E. North St,. Greenville was arrested for trafficking methamphetamine, controlled substance violation and simple possesionof marijuana after officers responded to 115 Middleton Blvd. in reference to a distrubance. According to reports, Cason had a black plastic case with a valium and crystal like substance inside. A Marlboro box he had also contained a plastic baggy with marijuana and white crystal like substance. Total drugs found included three baggies with 15 grams of methamphetamine, one valium pill and three grams of marijuana. S. N. Robison investigated.

Nov. 2 – Renee McCrery, 110 Gossett Drive F4 reported a Dyson vacuum cleaner valued at $570 taken from the apartment by her ex-boyfriend. There was some discrepancy about who owned and paid for the vacuum. M. Beeman investigated.
