Anderson County Sheriff’s Deputies investigated the following incidents:
EASLEY
Nov. 28 – D. McQueen responded to the WalMart where he placed Linda Cook, WF, 47, 5’5″, 120 pounds under arrest for shoplifting. She was transported to ACDC.
Nov. 28 – P.D. Marter was dispatched to the WalMart where he placed Shannon Burnside, WF, 27, 5’2″, 120 pounds for shoplifting. She was transported to ACDC.
PELZER
Nov. 28 – D. McQueen responded to 9 Lyman St. where Katelin Evans reported that someone had damaged her front door while trying to gain entry. The damage was estimated at $100.
Nov. 28 – P.D. Marter responded to the Southern Painting shop at 7002 Hwy. 29 N where Philip Pate reported that someone had cut the yard fence and stolen a black single axle trailer valued at $2000.
PIEDMONT
Nov.28 – D. McQueen was dispatched to 1101 Hwy. 86 where Kevin Odom reported that someone had entered his truck while he was in a restaurant at that site and stolen two cell phones and a purse. The loss was estimated at $250.
Nov. 29 – J.D. Sparkman responded to 201 Middleton Place where Stephen Bobby reported that someone had kicked in his front door and stolen a big screen television and other electronics, as well as several hundred dollars in cash. The total loss was estimated at $3000.
