Williamston Police Report


Williamston Police Officers investigated the following during the week of Christmas:

Dec. 15 – Ashley Marie Lemacks, 23, 604 N. Hamlton St., reported two bikes valued at $140 taken from the front porch.

Dec. 15 – Kenneth Oneil Solesby, 46, 109 G St. Williamston reported a 28 ft. ladder and a hand truck valued at $409 was stolen from his work truck. M. E. Simmons investigated.

Dec. 18 – Dawn Michelle Martin, 41, 3 Finley St., Pelzer was arrested for driving under suspension after a black Ford Ranger was observed failing to stop at a stop sign at Minor St. and Middleton Blvd. M. Crowe investigated.

Dec. 19 – Sharon Anastos, 43, 120 Belview Circle, Pelzer was arrested for driving under the influence after a motor vehicle accident at Main St and Center St. involving three vehicles M. Crowe investigated.

Dec. 21 – Debra Scroggs reported her vehicle was struck by an unknown object as she went through the intersection at Minor Street and Middleton Blvd. Damage was estimated at $200. M. E. Simmons investigated.

Dec. 23 – Randy Bridges, 61, 513 Williams St,. Williamston reported items missing from his yard including a Star Shower Laser Light, Spot Light, three way gound fault connector and a 50 ft. drop cord. The items were valued at $97. K. Anthony investigated.

Dec. 23 – Rite Aid, 201 E. Main St., Williamston reported a shoplifting incident in which a white female took several items and concealed them in her pocketbook. She left without paying in a white Jeep Cherokee. . T. Parks investigated.

Dec. 24 – Candice Hope McConnell, 36, 222 Gilmer Rd., Anderson was arrested for outstanding bench warrant for shoplifting after ACDC notified WPD that she was at the Detention Center. K. Anthony investigated.

Dec. 25 – William Shamari Slade, 19, 606 N. Hamilton St., Williamston reported a 2007 Suzuki motorcycle pushed over causing $2000 in damage. The incident happened at 620 N. Hamilton. R. Drennon investigated.

Dec. 26 – Ronald Thomas Cape, 29, (of Fort Mill) was arrested for CDV after officers were dispatched to 10 Circle Dr. in Williamston in reference to a domestic complaint. Cape was arrested and transported to ACDC. R. Drennon investigated.

Dec. 26 – Joseph Wayne Kainer, 29, 2 Libby Ln., Williamston reported a tag stolen from a 1995 Ford F150. M. Crowe investigated.

Dec. 27 – Tammy Jean Bottorf, 44, 1739 S. Piedmont Hwy., Piedmont was arrested for failure to maintain control of a vicious animal after Krystal Brewer of Fountain Inn reported being bitten by a dog while at 11 West Main. R. Drennon, SC Constable C. Trotter investigated.

Dec. 28 – Phillip Marshall Hughey, 27, 2 W 4th St., Williamston was arrested for domestic violence after officers responded to the location in reference to a domestic situation. M. E. Simmons, M. Beeman investigated.
