Anderson County Council District 7 Councilmember Cindy Wilson, SC District 9 Representative Anne Thayer and community volunteer Sara Crocker invite the public to a BAN THE TRASH in Anderson County meeting.
The meeting will be held January 7, 2016 at 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm at High Praises Church of God at 4506 Midway Road, Williamston (just north of Hopewell and Breazeale Roads, crossing Midway).
A variety of resources will be available and representatives will give County residents the tools and contacts to report trash and offenders; arrange for county and/or community clean ups with traffic management; organize communities with Adopt-a-Highway and Keep America Beautiful programs and any resources to BAN TRASH in Anderson.
The following resources will be on hand:
– Anderson County Administrator
– Anderson County Sheriff and Detention Center
– Anderson County Solid Waste Department and Environmental Control.
– Keep America Beautiful and Adopt-a-Highway representatives
– School Districts One and Five representatives
– Other elected officials
