According to Anderson County Coroner Greg Shore, the skeletal remains found in a wooded area of Powdersville Sunday are those of a Gary Calvin Burton, a 46-year-old Greenville County man who had been missing since May. The man was identified as Burton from the serial number on an implanted heart defibrillator, according to Shore.
