Williamston police investigated the following incidents:

Jan. 12 – Cash Time, 8 E. Greenville Drive, Williamston reported an armed robbery. No additional information was included in the report. T. L. Eichelberger investigated.

Jan. 14 – Dollar General, 526 West Main St, Williamston reported a shoplifting incident in which a female took merchandise from the business without paying for it. With the assistance of the West Pelzer Police Department, the suspect was located in West Pelzer and the items were returned to the store without charges being filed. M. E. Simmons investigated.

Jan. 15 – Sean Stephen Leech, 26, 526 Eastview Rd., Pelzer was arrested for domestic violence after officers were dispatched to 347 East Carolina Street in reference to a domestic situation involving Leech and the mother of his child. M. E. Simmons, M. Beeman investigated.

Jan 15 – Clyde Douglas Harper, 63, 35 W. Court St. Suite 400, Greenville reported two trail cameras and other items valued at $500 were stolen from 14 Crawford Rd., Williamston. G. Cremer investigated.

Jan. 16 – Samantha Lynn Turner, 36, 118 W. 3rd. St., Williamston reported an assault in which Colt Poore, 7 E. First St., Williamston, allegedly grabbed her by the throat and ripped a ring off her finger. The incident was to be presented to a judge for a possible warrant. Cpl. L. E. Mulz investigated.

Jan. 17 – Anthony Wayne Ellett, 56, 918 Todd Rd., Honea Path reported a break-in at 6 McDonald Ave. Several items were reported missing including a set of golf clubs. Z. T. Parks investigated.

Jan. 18 – MVPizza, 15 pelzer Ave., Williamston reported counterfeit currency passed by a white female with dark hair. The bill was placed into evidence. M. E. Simmons investigated.
