Three new Wayfinding Signs were recently placed along Main Street (Hwy. 20) in Williamston. The bright blue signs are located on Greenville Drive, West Main St. at Gossett and Anderson Drive. and point visitors toward major landmarks in the town including the Farmers Market, The Artory, Town Hall and Mineral Spring Park. The signs are another project of the Envision Williamston Main Street economic development program. Williamton Town Council members are shown with one of the signs. Pictured (l-r) are Councilman Ward 1 Tony Hagood, Ward 2 Councilman Rockey Burgess, Mayor Mack Druham, Envision Williamston Executive Director Sonya Crandall, Ward 3 Councilman David Harvell and Ward 4 Councilman Otis Scott. Town of Williamston Street Department staff poured concrete, assembled the signs, poured concrete and erected the signs. Working on the installation were Chris Coleman, Donnie Simms, and Ray Holliday.
