Anderson County Sheriff’s Deputies reported only five incidents for the Easley, Pelzer, Piedmont and Williamston area over the weekend. Among incidents reported were:

EASLEY – Feb. 22 – R.A. Sparkman received a telephone complaint from Joel Warner, of Mongo Homes, in Irmo about building materials stolen from three lots at 101 Upland Dr. the loss was estimated at $1835.

PELZER

Feb. 20 – D. McQueen responded to 6930 Hwy. 29 N to the Franklin Tree Service where Gene Franklin reported that someone had broken into the building and stole three Stihl chainsaws and a leaf blower. The loss was estimated at $2700.

PIEDMONT

Feb. 20 – J.T. Smith was dispatched to the Pilot convenience store at 110 Frontage Road, where he contacted Toumua Lor,Asian male, 5’4″, 180 pounds of Auburn,GA who stated he and his girlfriend got into an altercation while driving on I-85. He then spoke to Pang Thao, who had been secured in the store’s office along with her juvenile child. After interviewing both parties and witnesses, Smith placed Lor under arrest for criminal domestic violence.

WILLIAMSTON

Feb. 19 – A.G. Banister responded to 116 Chippewa Lane where Robert Romanowski reported the theft of his 22 foot car hauling trailer, valued at $8525.

Feb. 20 – P.D. Marter was dispatched to 204 Hogg Rd. where Huw Fowler reported the theft of his mailbox, post and all. The loss was estimated at $55.

Feb. 22 – J.J. Pearson responded to 340 HI Taylor Rd. where Julio Morales reported the theft of his Titan 700 heavy duty generator, valued at $1500.
