Williamston Police Officers investigated the following incidents:

Mar. 29 – Williamston police officers assisted Anderson City Police with a stolen vehicle chase that ended on Gossett St. Officers were on the ground with a white male who was resisting arrest and was taken into custody. The white Honda was reported stolen in Greenville County. S. N. Robison investigated.

Mar. 30 – James Thomas Sisk, 23, 108 Royal Dr., reported a gray and purple 1997 Nissan pick-up truck missing. According to reports keys were left in the vehicle. R. Drennon investigated.

Mar. 30 – Devonda Michelle Clark, 41, 269 Burgess School Rd., Pelzer was arrested and issued a summon for driving under suspension after being observed without having on a seatbelt. T. LO. Eichelberger investigated.

Mar. 31 – Officers were dispatched to the Dollar General, 526 West Main St. regarding possible drugs in the men’s restroom. According to reports a small zip lock baggy with a small amount of a crystal like substance was found and placed into evidence. K. Anthony investigated.

Mar. 31 – Rite Aid, 201 E. Main St., Williamston reported a shoplifting incident in which a white male wearing a black shirt, blue cap, blue jeans and a blue bag filled the bag up with items and left the store without paying for them. Cpl. L. E. Mulz investigated.

Apr. 2 – Sav-Way, 309 East Main St., Williamston reported a gas drive off in which a white truck driven by a white male with gray hair pumped $20.01 in gas and drove off without paying. M Crowe investigated.

Apr. 2 – Franziska Nicole Shipman, 32, 105 Craft Dr,. St., Belton was arrested for driving under suspension after a red SUV was observed running a stop sign at Minor St., and Middleton Blvd. Shipman also had an outstanding warrant in Seneca. She was arrested and transported to ACDC. M. Crowe investigated.

Apr. 2 – Ruth Bagwell, 130 Cherokee St., Williamston reported vandalism to a mailbox. Damage was estimated at $200. M. Beeman investigated.

Apr. 2 – Michael Steven Moore, 28, 700 Cherokee Rd., Pelzer was arrested for possession of a stolen handgun after officers were dispatched to McDonalds, 4 W. Main St., in reference to a civil issue. According to reports Moore told officers a subject with whom he had been involved in a hit and run a few days earlier was inside the restaurant and Moore had his vehicle blocked. When officers asked for Moore’s vehicle information they were told it was in the center console along with a handgun. The Glock handgun, valued at $500, was reported stolen in Spartanburg County. Moore was issued a summons and transported to ACDC. Drennon investigated.

Apr. 3 – Phillip Marshall Hughey, 28, 2 W 4th St., Williamston was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under suspension after being observed driving a green Saturn at the BP on Anderson Drive and then on Beaverdam Road (Hwy. 77) toward Parker. A clear pipe with a crystal like substance was found under the driver seat. He was issued a citation and transported to ACDC without further incident. M. Beeman investigated.

Apr. 3 – Myreon Jamar Smith, 34, 139 Crown Court, Williamston was arrested for criminal domestic violence after officers were dispatched to the address. M. Beeman investigated.

Apr. 3 – Sav-Way, 309 E. Main St., Williamston reported a gas driveoff in which an older heavy set white female wearing a green multi-color shirt pumped $10 in gas into a tan Toyota Camry and drove off without paying. T. Ryan investigated.

Apr. 3 – Michael Lee Sammons, 24, 110 Davis St., Williamston was arrested for outstanding warrant from Parole Probation after officers were dispached to 10 Davis St., in reference to a domestic issue. According to reports Sammons and a white female had been in an argument. Sammons was arrested and transported to ACDC without further incident.

Apr. 4 – Alexis Marie Sons, 17, 102 Roosevelt Thompson Rd., Anderson was arrested for simple possession of marijuana and operating a drug house after officers were dispatched to 203 Williamston Court in reference to placing a male at the residence on trespass notice. Upon investigation officers located 4 marijuana roaches in an ash tray which according to reports Sons stated was hers. Sons was arrested and transported to ACDC without incident. Cpl. L. E. Mulz, Z. Apr. 5 – Officers were dispatched to 620 E. Greenville Dr., Williamston where James Gregory Cothran reported a silver Ford F250 stolen. The vehicle was valued at $5200. T. L. Eichelberger investigated.
