Pelzer Town Council held a lengthy worksession with a member of the South Carolina Municipal Association on March 28. Following that worksession, council held a brief workshop during which they discussed several town issues including keeping the meeting agenda format the same and allowing citizen input quarterly beginning in May.
Councilmembers Kim Wison and Will Ragland planned to meet with Alvin McCall about possible funding to restore the old hospital. There was discussion about abandoning a street. Mayor and Council indicated they would like to pursue an ordinance prohibiting any mobile homes or camper trailers from being moved onto the mill village.
