Anderson School District One has annouced that Palmetto Middle School will not hold classes Friday while crews are working to repair a sewer line under the school. According to reports, a small leak was found Wednesday in the waste water line running under the foundation of the school after maintenance workers noticed the smell of waste water. Repairs are expected to be complete over the weekend in time for the school to operate on normal hours Monday.
