Williamston Police Officers investigated the following incidents:

Apr. 26 – Linda Y Perry, 66, 103 Lee St., Williamston reported a mailbox valued at $150 missing. S. Robison investigated.

Apr. 26 – Kayla Brooke Lollis, 25, 205 Longshore Dr., Belton reported a vaporized cigarette valued at $200 missing after laying it down to help an older woman put heavy wet items into a dryer. the incident occurred at 14 Greenville Dr. Williamston. Class 3 B. Peterson investigated.

Apr. 26 – Brandi Lee Williams, 114 Avondale Road, Anderson was issued a summons for obtaining goods by false pretenses after attempting to get a prescription filled at the Rite Aid Pharmacy, 201 East Main. According to reports Williams stated she was getting the prescription filled for a male subject she knows as Worm, who did not have an ID, and that Worm and a female passenger were in the parking lot. Officers did not observe the vehicle in the parking lot and Worm did not answer when attempts were made to contact him by phone. M. Beeman investigated.

Apr. 28 – Jason Lee Darby, 17, 220 Biblebrook Dr. #4, Greer was arresed for outstanding bench warrant after WPD was contacted by West Pelzer Police that Darby was in custody. He was transported to ACDC without incident.Cpl. L.E. Mulz investigated.

Apr. 29 – Williamston Church of God, 12 West First Street, Williamston reported a tag missing from a church van. M. Beeman investigated.

Apr. 30 – Haley Brett Potter, 22, 7 Ridley St,. Williamston was arrested for possession of marijuana after a Volkswagen Passat was observed blocking the roadway on Mauldin St. The vehicle also had no tag. According to reports officers found a ziplock bag with a 23.2 grams of a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana along with a small plastic bag containing 5 grams of a clear rock like substance field tested positivie as methamphetamine. Three passengers in the vehicle were released. Potter, the driver was arrested and transported to ACDC. Charges are pending for the methamphetamine. M. Beeman, C. Green investigated.

Apr. 30 – Kailee Snider, 18, 406 Parker St., Williamston reported that after checking the status of her tax return with the IRS, she was told her refund had been mailed out and she had not received the debit card. There was also unauthorized activity on her bank account. R. Drennon investigated.

May 2 – Stephen Shane Franklin, 40, 132 Old Tabernacle Rd., Belton was arrested for driivng under suspension, operating an uninsured vheicle and tag registered to another vehicle after a green Ford Ranger was observed running a stop sign on Pelzer Avenue and making a turn on to Green St. without using a turn signal. The tag, which recently expired, was registered to the driver but was for a 1983 Ford F-150. Franklin was arrested and transported to ACDC. C. Green, M. Beeman investigated.

May 2 – Darren Lin Smith, 42, 14 Academy Dr., Williamston reported a 2004 Black Chevy Tahoe Z71 stolen. A set of Nike golf clubs valued at $500 was in the vehicle which was valued at $8000. There was also damage estimated at $1000 from the Tahoe striking the bumper of a new Honda Accord. Z. T. Parks investigated.
