Williamston Police Officers investigated the following incidents:

May 17 – Clint William Watson, 23, 213 Woodtrail Dr., Williamston was arrested for drug violation, drug equipment violation and possession of stolen goods after officers observed a GMC pickup truck and Kia sedan run the stop sign at Williams Street and Mill Street. Both vehicles were stopped. The driver of the Kia was issued a UTT for disregarding a stop sign and released. A search of the truck officers discoverd a roled marijuana blunt and a small package of what appeared to be acid paper wrapped in aluminum foil. Several baggies containing 23 grams of a green leafy substance, drug paraphernalia, pills and two scales were found in a black bag hidden in a compartment in the hood portion of the vehicle.

Four cell phones were also found in his possession. One of the cell phones came back as stolen out of Dekalb County Ga. A UTT charging Watson with possession of drug paraphernalia was issued and he was transported to ACDC.

Five additional warrants were issued for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of a schedule 1 controlled substance, two counts of possession of schedule I-V controlled substance and possession of stolen goods. K. Anthony, T. L. Eichelberger investigated.

May 17 – Jason Webb Junior, 37, 213 W. Union Dr., #B, Belton was arrested for outstanding bench warrant after WPD was contacted by Anderson PD that Webb was in their custody. He was transported to ACDC. Z. T. Parks investigated.

May 18 – Myreon Jamar Smith, 34, 139 Crown Court, Williamston was arrested for trespass notice after officers were dispatched to 139 Crown Court in reference to Smith at the residence knocking on the door and ringing the doorbell. Cpl. L. E. Mulz investigated.

May 18 – Joel Bledsoe, 62, 1033 Forrest Hills Rd., Saluda reported a gold color 1992 Ford Ranger. stolen while he was making a purchase at Fast Fuel, 207 E. Main St. Reports state the keys were left inside the vehicle. The vehicle was valued at $5000 S. N. Robison, M. Beeman investigated.

May 20 – Anastashia Nicole Cunningham, 28, 100 Shemwood Lane #4A Greenville was issued a summons for speeding, no proof of insurance, improper use of a dealer tag and expired tag after a vehicle was observed traveling 47 in a 35 mph zone on Belton Drive. The vehicle was towed and the driver was released to a licensed driver. Z. T. Parks investigated.

May 21 – A debit card found at the Sun Trust ATM machine was turned in to the Williamston Police Department. The card was placed into evidence as found property. K. Anthony investigated.

May 22 – Officers were dispatched to 602 Williams Street to investigate an incident in which two people, Harry Willis and Joel Cristobal, reported that two of their friends came into their house uninvited and started hitting them. Neither of the victims wanted to press charges or give out any information. EMS was called to check on the victims. Both signed complain withdraw forms. Z. T. Parks investigated.

May 22 – Crystal Gail Smith, 35, 112 Pennwood Ln., Greenville was arrested for no turn signal and driving under suspension (3rd) after a Jeep Cherokee was observed making a right turn from Minor Street onto Main St. without using a turn signal. She was arrested and transported to ACDC without incident. Cpl. L. E. Mulz investigated.

May 22 – Main Street Motors reported batteries stolen from five vehicles at the lot. The batteries were valued at $500. Cpl. L. E. Mulz investigated.

May 23 – William Thomas Biscotto, 35, 16 Spring St., Williamston was arrested for possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia and manner of driving after officers observed a moped traveling approximately 40 mph in a 25 mph zone on Main Street. Officers found a bottle with a white rectangular pill marked GG249 (Alprazolam), a schedule four controlled substance and a black set of scales with methamphetamine residue on it inside his fanny pack. A yellow color baggie containing a crystal/white rock like substance believed to be methamphetamine was found in his left pocket. He was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, no moped tag and issued a warning for speeding. Warrants were being obtained for the drugs. Cpl. L. E. Mulz investigated.

May 23 – Joshua Dale Hill, 24, 114 Oak Tree Dr., Anderson was arrested for open container ina vehicle after officers were dispatched to 10 E. Fourth St., in reference to a fight in progress.

According to reports officers observed a black Acura parked in the street with two white males and a white female inside. Upon investigation a beer bottle was observed on the floor between Hill’s legs. Hill and the driver of the vehicle, Windy D. Smith were also placed on trespass notice from 10 E. Fourth St., R. Drennon investigated.
