The Journal office will be closed July 4-8. Items may be mailed, emailed or left in the mail drop box at the front door during the week we are closed. The Journal staff wishes everyone a safe and happy Independence Day as we celebrate freedom and independence. (The vacation notice published in last week’s Journal contained a typo stating the office would be closed July 4-18. We wish this were the case but will be back in the office at 9 a.m. on Monday July 8.)
