Greenville County Deputies recently arrested 54 year-old Kirk Donnell Burroughs in connection with five snatch and grabs that took place in the Greenville area between July 18, 2016 and July 19.
According to reports, in the early morning hours of July 18, 2016 Greenville County Deputies were called to the CVS Pharmacy located at 2401 E North St., Walgreens located at 6057 White horse Rd., Wal-Mart located at 1451 Woodruff Rd., McDonalds located at 3618 Pelham Rd., and the Corner Mart gas station located at 1330 E. Lee Rd. in reference to a heavy-set black male suspect
approaching the check-out counter with merchandise and cash in-hand. After the cashier opened the register, the suspect reached over the counter and grabbed an undisclosed amount of cash. In two incidents, the suspect used force to complete the thefts and was thus charged with Strong Armed Robbery.
Through the course of investigation, Investigators were able to identify the suspect as 54 year-old Kirk Donnell Burroughs.
Kirk Donnell Burroughs is currently being held on bond in the Greenville County Detention Center charged with two counts of Purse Snatching, two counts of Strong Armed Robbery and Petit Larceny.
