Williamston Police Officers investigated the following incidents:

July 26 – Kristen Leigh Langston, 36, 9 S. Academy St., Williamston reported a gray Mongoose 20” bike stolen. The bike was valued at $130. Z. T. Parks investigated.

July 27- Fallon Canup, 24, 12 Glenwood Ave., Wiliamston reported someone cut the screen to the rear porch window and made entrance to the residence. A cigarette butt, half a Mountain Dew and a bag of clothes were left on the porch. According to the report, the residence was previously broken into and a trash compactor and other items were stolen. E. Bonnett investigated.

July 16 – Sharon Daniellle Miller, 32, no fixed address, was arrested for trespass after notice after Lynn Shaw reported Miller, who was on trespass notice, was sitting on her front porch at 16 East Main St. M. Beeman investigated.

July 28 – Larry Eugene Wright, 38, 3628 Keys Drive Anderson was issued a summons for license plate improperly display, operating an uninsured vehicle and registration not in possession after a white Nissan Sentra was observed on West Main Street witout a tag light. He was issued a warning for the tag light and summons for the other three citations. The vehicle was towed. M. Beeman investigated.

July 29 – John William Welborn, Jr., 17, 109 Williams St,. Ext, Williamston was arrested for assault and battery after officers were dispatched to 109 Williams St., in reference to a domestic fight situation. Austin Beddingfield, no additional information, was also arrested. Both were transported to ACDC. M. Roberts, Z. T. Parks investigated.

July 30 -Williamston officers recovered a stolen vehicle in the area of Glenwood Avenue and Kilgore. The Toyota Tundra, valued at $4000, was reported stolen out of Greenville County. Z. T. Parks investigated.

July 30 – Williamston Police and Fire responded to a trash bin fire at #10 Church St. Officials were unable to make contact with any subjects or witnessess at the scene. M. Roberts investigated.

July 30 – Gloria Jean Chandler, 45, 127 Jeremy Dr., Williamston was arrested for public disorderly conduct in Mineral Spring Park after officers observed her stumble several times. A cup with beer in it was found where she was sitting. She was arrested and transported to ACDC. Cpl. L. E. Mulz investigated.

July 30 – Audrey D. Daniel, 57, 1732 Week Irk St, Atlanta reported two tires damaged while her 2013 Nissan Maxima was parked at 109 Mackie St. The 18 inch Goodyear tires were valued at $400. T. L. Eichelberger investigated.

July 31 – Joseph Terrance Wright, 47, 10 Market St., Williamston was arrested for criminal domestic violence after officers were dispatched to 10 Market St,. in reference to a 911 hangup. According to reports a 35 year old female stated Wright had choked her and she thought she was going to die. Z. T. Parks, M. Roberts investigated.

July 31 – Williamston Police and Fire were dispatched to a dumpster fire at 103 Belton Dr., Apt. C. According to reports there was damage to the trash dumpster, power lines and adjoining business/apartment building. Total damage was estimated at $3750. M. Roberts investigated.

July 31 – Michelle Lynn Alewine, 42, 1704 Anderson Dr., Williamston reported her estranged husband, Mickey Lewis Alewine, had cut her off with his vehicle and jumped on the hood of her car causing damage. The incident occurred at the four-way stop at Minor and Ida Tucker. Damage was estimated at $200. T. L. Eichelberger investigated.
