The Williamston Fire Department is teaming up with 123 Buildings and the American Heart Association to provide hands-only CPR at the 2016 Spring Water Festival. Hands-only CPR has been shown to be as effective as conventional CPR for cardiac arrest at home, at work, or in public. It can double or even triple a victim’s chance of survival.
All adults are encouraged to attend this free training, where they will be able to learn and practice this life saving skill. Classes will be held at the Williamston Fire Department on Saturday, August 27, every 20 minutes from 9 am until 4 pm.
