Powdersville firefighters along with Pelzer EMS personnel work at the scene of an accident on Saturday afternoon. A pickup truck ran off I-85 south, knocked down a large highway sign before crashing through a fence. The truck then crossed Affordable Homes Avenue before hitting the guardrail and sliding along the guardrail. The driver was rushed to Greenville Memorial Hospital by Pelzer EMS.
