A man wanted for several criminal charges concerning a minor female was taken into custody by Anderson County Deputies Saturday at the Jockey Lot. Michael Andrew Keller, WM, 28, 6′, 250 pounds was on the Anderson County Sheriff’s Most Wanted list for acts committed between December of 2014 and July of 2015.

During that time, Keller transmitted obscene pictures of himself by telephone to a sixteen year old girl from Iva. He also persuaded her on several occasions to leave her home without parental or guardian consent and join him. This led to a charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Following those events Keller was placed on the most wanted list. When Deputy S.M. Earwood made contact with Keller Saturday, October 8, at the Jockey Lot Keller provided false information about his identity. Earwood contacted Central Dispatch and ascertained Keller’s real identity, and placed him under arrest.

He was transported to the Anderson County Detention Center and booked on one charge of disseminating obscene material by an electronic device; one charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor; and providing false information to the police. He was also served with a warrant for non-payment of support.

His bond on the disseminating and contributing to the delinquency charges came to a total of twenty five thousand dollars. The bond on the false information charge was four hundred sixty five dollars. No bond as set on the bench warrant. He will be held until his next court date on the non-payment charge.
