Anderson County Sheriff’s Deputies reported investigating the following incidents:

EASLEY

Oct. 8 – D.J. Petit received a telephone report from Robert Salazar, who was calling for his friend Lesby Carballo, who cannot speak English. Salazar reported the theft of Carballo’s 2003 Toyota Camry , SC tag # MSB790 from 110 Powdersville Main. The car was valued at $4000. The keys were left in the ignition.

PELZER

Oct. 8 – A.F. Acevedo was dispatched to 202 Old River Rd. where Glenn Ferrell reported the theft of his red Troy Bilt riding mower, valued at $900.

Oct. 8 – D.J. Petit received a telephone report from Danny Rackley, at 109 New Hope Rd. concerning the theft of a Walkie brand radio, and a red Craftsman carry tool box, with tools. The loss was estimated at $900.

Oct. 9 – Z.W. Crane received a telephone complaint from Robert Timms, pastor of the Gospel Light Baptist Church at 525 Moors Mill Rd. Someone turned over all the tables and built a fire under the shed.

PIEDMONT

Oct. 9 – D.J. Petit responded to the Arby’s at 3028 Hwy. 153 where Kenna Moore, of Stanley, NC reported the theft of her 200 Toyota Celica GTS, NC tag # NRW2385. The car was valued at $6000.

WILLIAMSTON

Oct. 7 – R.A. Sparkman received a telephone report from Tonya Wood, of 244 Lewis Dr. concerning the theft of her 14 foot, tandem axle, black utility trailer, valued at $2000. A neighbor saw two white males in a school bus yellow Chevy pickup drive off with the trailer.
