Stage Stores (Goody’s) celebrating 125th Anniversary

Stage Stores is celebrating 125 Years of Style with a huge sale and exciting cash and prize giveaways. What began as a single, family-owned department store has grown into the Palais Royal, Bealls, Goody’s, Peebles and Stage family of stores that operates in over 800 locations across 38 states.

In an industry where styles and customers tastes change quickly, staying in business for 125 years is reason to celebrate. Stage has always celebrated the style of its customers, by providing great fashion at affordable prices. Through October 20, Stage will celebrate with an anniversary event packed with great sale prices and extra savings offers.

The commemorative celebration began last week and on October 15, Stage Stores gave away over $1,250,000 in cash prizes and giveaways – with the first 125 customers at each store receiving a scratch-off card revealing a prize ranging in value from $10 to $1,000.

“This celebration is our way of saying thank you to all of our customers and associates for their loyal support over the past 125 years,” said Michael Glazer, president and Chief Executive Office of Stage Stores. “Our anniversary celebration will focus on giving our customer the style and value she loves.”
