Pelzer Church of God will provide free hot dogs and drinks for the children, plus sponsor a Puppet Show on the Gospel stage. The Cowboy Church will have their popular fishing tank.

Stage Entertainment will include Jack’s Drum Shack at 5:30 and a Halloween Costume Contest at 6:30. Other businesses, organizations, and churches will also be participating in the night’s event. Organizer Dianne Lollis offered the following suggestions to those sponsoring the event and participating in handing out candy to help make the event a success:

· Bring plenty of candy

· Give only 1-2 pieces per child. If you give more your candy won’t last long.

· Use good judgment on the age of Trick or Treaters.

· Be aware of those trying to break in the line.

Also, due to the amount of children that attend the event yearly, Main Street between Minor Street and Pelzer Avenue will be closed from 5-9 pm.
