Voters in the Cedar Grove Precinct located inside the municipal limits of the Town of Williamston will cast their ballots for the Williamston election at Cedar Grove Elementary School. The town’s three polling places are the Williamston Mill Precinct at Calvary Baptist Church; the Williamston Precinct at Palmetto Middle School and the Cedar Grove Precinct at Cedar Grove Elementary School.
Vote counting will take place at Palmetto Middle School following the closing of polls. On Thursday, November 10, at 10 a.m. at the Williamston Municipal Center, 12 W. Main St., Williamston, the Municipal Election Commission will hold a hearing to determine the validity of ballots challenged in this election. If there is a runoff, it will be held two weeks after the election on Tuesday, November 22.
