Williamston Police Officers investigated the following incidents:

Dec. 7 – Macala Marie Hatfield, 19, 10 Edgewood Dr., Williamston reported an unknown subject knocking on doors and windows and possibly attempting to get into the residence. When officers arrived Hatfield told them a white male wearing dark fluffy coat and jeans followed her home from work. Officers searched the immediate area and were unable to find the subject. M. Roberts, E. Bonnett investigated.

Dec. 1 – Mary Janet Ford, 52, 3 Horton St,. Williamston reported someone drove a vehicle through the edge of her yard damaging newly planted sod and centipede grass and sprinkler system. Damage was estimated at $1000. B. K. Creel investigated.

Dec. 9 – Joan Dearborn, 38, 416 Belton Dr. Apt. B3, Williamston reported a DVD recorder valued at $200 missing from her apartment. M. Roberts investigated.

Dec. 10 – Officers responded to Roberts Blvd. in reference to a collision involving a truck and a tree. When officers arrived they observed a heavily damaged dark color pick up truck with the keys missing and doors locked, but no one in the truck or ejected from it. The owner of the truck was contacted and the vehicle was towed by Main Street Motors. It was unconfirmed who was driving the truck and the incident remains under investigation. M. Roberts, E. Bonnett investigated.

Dec. 10 – Kenneth Wayne Marshall, 61, 11 Stewart St,. Williamston reported motor oil thrown on a hunting blind causing $60 in damage. Sgt. L. E. Mulz investigated.

Dec. 10 – Alysia Nicole Hewitt Roberson, 30, 13D Edgewood Dr., Williamston reported a suspicious vehicle driving by her residence very slowly. The vehicle is a dark color Tahoe SUV. The report also indicated being harrassed and threatened by the person suspected of driving the vehicle. The incident remains under investigation. E. Bonnett, M. Roberts investigated.

Dec. 11 – Officers investigated an incident on Greenville Drive in which Christopher Harold Ledford, 102 DandM Drive Belton reported a black male tried to “swing on him” but missed and then chased him from the Stop N Go gas station down the street. A witness gave a different account. The incident remains under investigation. K. Anthony investigated.

Dec. 13 – Jessica Renee Andrews, 30, 118 G. St., Williamston was arrested for domestic violence after officers were dispatched to the residence at 5:47 a.m. in reference to a domestic verbal. According to reports she was playing music loud and keeping her husband from sleeping by getting in his face in a threatening manner and yelling. Andrews was arrested and transported to ACDC without incident. K. Anthony investigated.
