The South Carolina Department of Commerce, Grants Administration has recommended a grant award of $84,500 in Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) funds for the Williamston Downtown Acceleration Program (WDAP).
ARC funds are allocated to South Carolina to undertake economic and community development activities; however, final approval of the use of these funds for specific projects remains the responsibility of the ARC staff and Co-Chairman in Washington.
The grant application was made for Town of Williamston through the Envision Williamston program.
