JOYCE ‘JOY’ SEIGLER BURTON
Joyce “Joy” Seigler Burton, 70, of Pelzer, went home peacefully to be with the Lord at her home, Wednesday, April 19, 2017.
She is the daughter of the late Rev. John and Dessie Seigler.
She has two sons, Billy McGee of the home and Joey Burton of Pelzer; one sister, Tillie Howard of Gray Court, and one brother, Ernest Seigler of Honea Path.
She was predeceased by sisters, Dot Davis, Edith Miller, Louise and Thelma Bowen and Edna Lindley.
She was blessed with ten grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. She was also blessed with a very close and special niece, Gail New who was also her best friend and her caregiver.
She was a member of the Willing Workers Sunday School Class at Eureka Baptist Church in Anderson.
A memorial service will be held at High Praises Church at a later date. The family is at the home of her son, Joey Burton at 6 Lopez St. in Pelzer.

STEVEN MICHAEL KONDUROS
Steven Michael Konduros, 29, of Pelzer, died on Easter Sunday, April 16, 2017 in Oroville, CA.
Born on September 13, 1987 in Greenville, he was son of Melody A. Stricklin and step-father, Patrick E. Stricklin; father, Steven D. Konduros, and step-mom Sheryl Konduros.
In addition to his parents he is survived by a brother, Cristopher D. Konduros (Kristen); step-brother, Steven D. Stricklin; step-sister, Lindsey K. Stricklin; aunts, Angela Konduros Houston (Shawn), Delta Owens (William), Holly Slingerland; uncle, Albert Slingerland (Uyen); and several nieces and nephews.
He was a graduate of Wren High School.
He lived a good life and never met a stranger. He filled a room up with his charm and understanding. He never let his brother forget he was the oldest.
We love you son. Your family always and forever.

JIMMY JONES
James “Jimmy” Claude Jones, Jr., 61, of Belton, widower of Sandra Elaine Stone Jones, died Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at AnMed Health Medical Center.
Born in Anderson County, he was the son of the late James Claude, Sr, and Janice Jennings Jones. He was of the Baptist faith and employed at Culp Woven Velvets.
Surviving are his son, Mike Jones of Anderson; two daughters, Angie Strickland and Jamie Tucker, both of Belton; three sisters, Debra Forrester of Anderson, Peggy Autry of Williamston, and Tami Pinson of AZ; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday, April 20 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Garden of Memories.

JOAN SMITH JAMESON
Joan Smith Jameson, 83, of Easley, wife of William B. “Bill” Jameson, died Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Foothills Presbyterian Home.
Born in Pickens County, she was a daughter of the late Ellis and Anna Mae Holliday Smith. She retired from NCR Liberty and was a member of Guthrie Grove Church of God.
Surviving in addition to her husband, are a son, Stan L. Jameson; daughter, Rebecca Jane Jameson, both of Easley; sister, Carol S. James of Piedmont; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, April 22 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial followed in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

LELAND HEMRICK
WILLIAMSTON – Leland Eugene Hemrick, 65, husband of Bobbie Ellison Hemrick, passed away April 21, 2017.
Born in Toccoa, GA, he was a son of the late John C. Hemrick, Sr. and Rosie Mae Earwood Hemrick.
In addition to his wife of the home, he is survived by children, Tonya Lea Hemrick and Leland Eugene Hemrick, II, both of Oklahoma; Beverly Jean Hemrick and Buddy Eugene Hemrick, both of Illinois; Johnathan Rollins of Missouri; step-son, Michael Revis (Amy) of Williamston; brother, Harold Hemrick of Toccoa, GA; sisters, Beverly Hemrick of Illinois and Wanda Standridge of Toccoa, GA; grandchildren, Aniah, Canden, Michael, Carter, Grace, Camaury; step-grandchildren, Glenn, Bon’tel, all of Oklahoma; step-grandchildren, Anna, Kellie, Steven Revis, all of Williamston; five dogs.
He was predeceased by step-son, Jerry Revis; brothers, Johnny and Charles Hemrick; sister, Melba Hemrick; step-granddaughter, Autumn Revis.
Visitation was held Wednesday, April 26 from 11:00 – noon at Gray Mortuary. The funeral followed at noon in the mortuary chapel. Burial was at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, Anderson.

EARL HIGGINBOTHAM
WILLIAMSTON—Robbie Earl Higginbotham, 79, husband of Nellie Scroggs Higginbotham, passed away Saturday, April 22, 2017.
Born in Iva, he was a son of the late Robert Green and Susie Evalee Johnson Higginbotham. He was a member of Pelzer Church of God.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by sisters, Mary Horne (Jimmy) of Williamston, Doris Jordan of Griffin, GA; brothers, Bill Higginbotham (Lafon) of Johnson City, TN, and C.L. Higginbotham (Jan) of Roebuck.
He was predeceased by sisters, Helen McAlister, Evelyn Manley; brothers, James Higginbotham, Roy Gene Higginbotham; and twin brother, Bobbie Jerold Higginbotham.
Visitation was held Tuesday, April 25, from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Pelzer Church of God. The funeral followed at 2:00. Burial was at Pine Lawn Cemetery, Pelzer.

LLOYD BAGWELL
WILLIAMSTON – George Lloyd Bagwell, 88, husband of sixty-two years to Ruth Fowler Bagwell, passed away Monday, April 24, 2017.
Born in Anderson County, he was a son of the late George Furman and Annie Kate Durham Bagwell. He retired from Matrix Construction and was a member of Guthrie Grove Church of God of the Abrahamic Faith. He also raised, trained and sold Border Collies and was an outdoorsman.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three nephews and four nieces.
He was predeceased by brother, Guy Bagwell.
Visitation will be from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm, Thursday, April 27, at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer. The service will follow at 12:00 pm in the mortuary chapel. Burial will be at Guthrie Grove Church of God of the Abrahamic Faith Cemetery.

JOYCE CREWS
Joyce Jacquilen Gambrell Crews, 85, of Pelzer, widow of Phillip Eugene Crews, died Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at her home.
Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Alton Parker and Annie Bell Barnett Gambrell. She was retired from the Kendall Co. and a member of the Pelzer First Baptist Church.
Survivors include sons, Bobby Crews of Jessup, GA and Max Compton, III of Pelzer; six grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, April 27, at 11 a.m. at Pine Lawn Cemetery, Pelzer.

LISA MICHELLE HARPER CHRISTY
Lisa Michelle Harper “Kitty” Christy, 47, of Piedmont, died Friday, April 21, 2017 at Greenville Health System.
Funeral service was held Tuesday, April 25 at Watkins, Garrett & Woods Mortuary with private burial.
