Three plead guilty to charges related to K-9 case

Sergio Montez Martin, Shirlandria Shaqua Dixon and Martevious Shamon Craig recently pled guilty in Anderson General Sessions Court before the Honorable Donald Hocker to charges related to the death of an Anderson County Sheriff’s Office K-9 last year.

Martin pled guilty to Failure to Stop for a Blue Light and Possession of a Weapon by Certain Persons Unlawful and was sentenced to 5 years in prison. Dixon pled guilty to Filing a False Police Report and was sentenced to five years suspended on the service of five years probation.
Craig pled guilty to three counts of Accessory after the Fact and his sentence was deferred.
Charges are still pending in the case against David Fitzgerald Morris, Jr. His case is expected to go to trial on May 22, 2017.
