Journal launches new website

The Journal is launching an upgraded version of our website this week. The new site will feature larger and more photos, of local news and events and more. The homepage features emergency services response to wrecks, fires and other “frontpage” news and breaking news items that are found in the print edition of The Journal each week. There will also be news and entertainment, some school and some sports posted weekly.

Other local news, happenings and complete sports coverage can be seen in print or online on our E-Edition by subscribing.

Viewing of the online edition of The Journal has also been made easier for our print and online subscribers.

If you are already an online or print subscriber, you will need to re-register as a member on the site to view the E-Edition of The Journal.

Print subscribers get free 24/7 access to The Journal Online.

A print and/or online subscription to The Journal is only $42.00, giving subscribers access to more local news for Williamston, Pelzer, West Pelzer, Piedmont and surrounding communities.

Sports coverage includes teams at all four area high schools including Palmetto, Wren, Powdersville and Woodmont.

Area school news including honor rolls and other recognitions and school activities can also found each week in The Journal.

The Journal can also be found at newsstand locations throughout the area.
