Williamston shooting suspect arrested

The man wanted in connection with a shooting incident on Oct. 21 in which three people were injured turned himself in to the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office Tuesday.
Bobby Lee Slade, of Williamston, was arrested and charged with three counts of attempted murder and one count of possession of a weapon during a violent crime, according to the Anderson County Detention Center.
According to Williamston Police Captain Kevin Marsee, Slade was denied bond and remains at ACDC.
Brandon Spandau Rowe, Stacy Andre Mosley and Patrice Marcella Peters were injured by gunshots during the incident on Caroline Street.
The incident remains under investigation.
Williamston Police Chief Taylor said that the shooting was the result of an ongoing conflict between individuals and that it was connected to another recent shooting incident on Joe Black Road.
Anderson County Sheriff’s Deputies are investigating that incident and according to Chief Taylor, a warrant was issued for Rowe, who was admitted to the hospital in ICU.
